March 6, 2009, Newsletter Issue #103: What Your E-card Video Should Have
1
Tip of the Week
AmericanGreetings.com Tip: If you are contemplating sending a video e-card, there are certain requirements your computer and the video file will need. Making a virtual card is usually a pretty easy process, but you need to make sure that you follow the rules of the website you are using to send the e-card.
Most websites will require your file size for your video to be less than 15 MB. Any bigger and you may not be able to upload the video. Most sites will also allow you to create a virtual card to send in video format using an .avi format, a mpg format or wmv format for uploading your video. If you have taken the video in a different format other than those mentioned above, you may want to save it using a different file.
Once you find an e-card website that allows you to upload and send video e-cards, just make sure to follow the website's requirements and the entire creation process should go smoothly!
