April 10, 2009, Newsletter Issue #108: Thank You E-card Messages
1
Tip of the Week
What kind of messages do e-cards express, especially those that say thank you? You can express your thanks in several different ways in the form of a thank you e-card; it all depends on the tone that you think is appropriate for the e-card and the person receiving it.
Let's say your boss did something really great for you and you wish to convey your thanks to her. Of course, unless you have a close personal relationship with your boss, you don't want to send something that is too lovey-dovey or something with inappropriate humor. You will want to send a thank you that is more business-oriented. The great thing about thank you e-cards is that there are business appropriate e-cards to send!
If you don't want to beat around the bush and you just want to give a direct thanks with none of the fluffiness that some cards have, you can send an e-card thank you that is direct and to the point. Are you worried you won't be able to find a card like that? Don't fret! There are direct and to the point e-card thank you's available for the person who doesn't want to mess around.
You can send an e-card thank you message for so many reasons; the tone you wish to take is a personal choice. The wonderful thing about e-cards is that you have so many choices to pick from with many different tones; you should have no trouble finding one that is right for you!
