Postcards are the oldest type of e-card on the Internet. - Animated e-cards are similar to postcards, because they have one image, yet that image uses JavaScript to give the e-card some minor repetitive movement. - Talking e-greetings are flash animated and incorporate speech synthesis to allow the sender of the e-card to add whatever they want the animation to say to the recipient of the e-card. Talking e-greetings are the newest e-card on the Internet.
