Photo insert greeting cards are a less expensive version of portrait greeting cards. To make a photo insert greeting card at home, get a piece of card stock and fold it in half. Hold the card stock the way you want the card to appear and cut out the appropriate size hole from the center of the front flap. Make sure you haven't cut the hole too big, because you don't want the image to full through. Next, take another piece of card stock that is roughly one inch longer and wider than your photograph and glue it in place behind your card.
