Getting started making greeting cards with children is simple and creative ideas go the limit of your imagination. Here are a few ideas to get you started.

Fold a piece of construction paper in half. Have the children you are working with decorate the folded paper with different stickers and assist them in writing a message on the inside of the card.Fold a piece of construction paper or card stock in half. Cut around the edges to create a seasonal shape and allow the children to decorate the card accordingly. When finished, the kids will have a cute shaped card to send!Fold a piece of construction paper or card stock in half. Have the children you are working with use glue to make a pattern or shape on the front of their card. Then use lengths of yarn on top of the glue. After allowing the cards to dry, the children can add decorations on the inside along with their sentiments.These are just a few simple, fun ideas to get you started with greeting card crafts for kids. The sky is the limit with these crafts and always remember to talk to the children you are working with because they are a wellspring of good ideas!
