July 11, 2008, Newsletter Issue #70: Turn Old Greeting Cards into New Postcards

Tip of the Week

We buy greeting cards for so many occasions and als receive them throughout the year. You may have tons of greeting cards from years gone by for a variety of different holidays and occasions. You can use those old greeting cards for your card sending occasions!

Carefully cut the front panel from the old greeting card you would like to use. With a ruler and a fine tip black marker, draw a line down the horizontal center of the card. Now you have a postcard! Use one side of the card for your address, postage stamp small drawings or embellishments and the other side for your message.

This is a great way to recycle and reuse, while saving you money on greeting cards! It takes very little time to convert a greeting card into a post card, but once you're finished you have a one of a kind postcard that the recipient can cherish and enjoy for years to come!
