How many times have you received a greeting card, only to toss it in the trash once you had read it? Probably more times than you can count most likely.
Did you know that a wonderful earth-friendly benefit of sending an e-card is that you are helping save the environment? First, you are saving trees by eliminating the need for paper to print a typical greeting card on. Second, you aren't throwing away paper into the wastebasket, eliminating paper waste on your part. The more e-cards you send via the use of the Internet, the less need there will be for cars or trucks to transport the paper greeting cards normally sent, so you are helping the environment by reducing carbon emissions in the air. Every small piece you do can help! This includes sending e-cards rather than regular paper cards by snail mail.
