Which way should a card face when you put it in the envelope?

Greeting cards, no matter the holiday or occasion, should be inserted with the image side of the card facing the back flap of the envelope with the fold of the greeting card facing up.
This makes the greeting card easier to remove from the envelope and if the image is horizontal it will be right-side up when the recipient removes the card from the envelope.
